The aftermath of the Haitian Earthquake are being felt by the people of that small, poor country in the Caribbean. The problems of sanitation, food supplies and homelessness will be felt over the next several months and years. The fact that it is nolonger in the news does not mean the the problems have gone away. The people of Hait still need your help. |

This year Sport Relief is over the weekend of 19th to 21st March. So what are you doing for it. A football tournament? Running a mile? Sponsored egg and spoon race? Whatever it is let us know. Sport relief mile is at the Dukeries Leisure Centre, New Ollerton on Sunday 21st March commencing at 10:30.
Volunteers that would be willing to help with the event in any way would welcome.
Grove Leisure Centre, Newark on the 21st March starting at 10:30 – I would be pleased to welcome any volunteers willing to help to be on site at 9am.
The event is all held on the sports field at Grove, we need people to help with registration, marshalling, giving out goody bags and also for set up and take down of the course.

| Stonebridge City farm is under threat from the Nottingham City Council who wish remove 10% of the land for car parking. The campaign is asking people to add their views to this video to help put pressure of the council to leave the farm alone.
