Active ashfield Gala Day 2009

The second Active Ashfield Mile event took place on Sunday 18 April at Ashfield School 2010, 10am. Over 200 people of all ages took part, and all of then managed to complete the mile either by running it, walking it or going round in a wheel chair. Many thousands of pound were raised for local charities including OASIS – a fund that supports local Olympians in the run up to 2012.
